Still No News

No good news that is. What has happened however, is that the posters we've put up in various places have disappeared. Catzee's dad went to replace some, but these were taken down as well. However, no one has contacted us about her, so we tend to believe that someone around here has her, but doesn't want to give her up even for the reward. Hopefully she's safe and being well taken care of. I still hope and pray though, that she finds her way home soon.

Cats have a different view of territories and boundaries. They work out where the edge of a territory is when they meet another cat and set up negotiations... which means that sometimes other peoples' homes are in their territory and they'll wander in and out. Maybe she's been going in someone's house, and they decided to keep her. People don't always understand that a cat might just be visiting, if it sits on a chair, or looks around the kitchen to see what's to eat they think it must want to move in.

I hope that she is somewhere safe! I can't believe that someone would just take her and not at least let you know that she was safe. Our thoughts to your family.

I'm so sorry to hear this. :( I know you raised a wonderful kitty that anyone would love.

However, they are soon gonna learn that Catzee is an OUTDOOR kitty. She may come home on her own. I hope so anyway.

HUGS!

Try leaving some posters at the local vets, Leigh. They see the "locals" when they bring in cats for shots, etc. (This was the suggestion of our vets to give to you) They may know who has a new cat.

Well, that is just plain MEAN if someone has Catzee and doesn't want to give her up. You've certainly let the neighborhood know where she belongs and that you want her back very much.

We're still purring and wagging our tails for Catzee's safe return. Thanks for the update.

I agree with Jan that if someone is taking down your posters because they have Catzee and don't want to give her up, that is just plain mean. I like the suggestion of taking your fliers to all the local vets and seeing if anything develops from that. I continue to hope and pray that Catzee finds her way home again.

PLEASE contact your local police department. Some towns do not allow postings without a permit and remove them on sight, though I would hope they would at least have the decency to at least call you if this is the case. Dont give up! I know she misses you as much as you ( and the rest of us ) miss her. Curtis ( Princess's Dad ).

If someone is taking down the posters and keeping Catzee, when it is obvious that she is a well-loved part of the family, with people that miss her, then that is just cruel.

Catzee,
We are still purring and praying that you find your way home. You are missed and loved. Come home soon!

We're still purring for little Catzee to come home. That's some good suggestions about visiting the local Police Station and the Vets. Did you know about a group on Catster, ****PURRS AND WOOFS FOR THE MISSING**** at http://www.catster.com/group/grp_page.php?g=12424

There are some good info and links on the home page for this group, and some encouraging stories.

Our thoughts are with you--we just read your latest post. I am sorry to hear that people are saying thoughtless things on your blog.

We will also continue to hope that Catzee may make her way back to you soon -- perhaps after having a loving adventure with another family.

We just dropped by to see if there was any news and saw your post for the 16th. We're so sorry that she has not come home. We go outside too, we love our freedom and know that Catzee did too. Being able to be the cats we are is as important to us as fuuds. Don't give up hope, sometimes things take a whole lot longer than you think they will. We'll keep up the rumbly purrs for her return.

I'm so sorry you haven't found her. I hope she will find her way home some day, and if not, another family has taken her in and are unaware or even too selfish to return her.

We are so sorry that Catzee hasn't come back or been found. We are even sorrier that people keep taking down her posters....that is just rude and unnecessary! We will continue to purr and hope, and we are sending out hugs and gentle headbutts to you to help you feel better.
