Catzee's Mom here.
Catzee didn't come home last night. This is unusual because she usually comes in as soon as it starts to get dark and goes to bed until the crack of dawn. She does go out if Rascal goes out aftert dark, always like to be in for the night.
I called and called for her and was out looking for her as soon as it was light. No joy. I'm worried about my kitty girl.

I am so sorry that she isn't home but, as always, inside kitties are much more safe than the inside-outside babies. I truly hope she is found. But if she makes it home, please keep her inside. It's the only way to keep her alive.
Some hints to find her:
First, flyers in all of the animal hospitals, grocery stores and on telephone polls. Call your local radio station and as for a public service announcement. An ad in lost and found in your local paper. Set out a live trap. Cats generally don’t go too far so I’d knock on doors for about a five block radius of my home. If the neighbor kids haven’t gone back to school, gather them up and tell them that you will provide a reward for the one who finds the cat first. Tell them to work in pairs and for one to keep an eye on the cat and the other to come tell you where the cat is hiding. Tell them NOT to chase the cat. If they are back in school, possibly talk to their mothers and ask permission to have their children look after school.

We are purraying so very hard that Catzee comes home safe and sound!!
Make sure you check neighbors' garages or sheds. Our neighbor's cat got out and was missing for about 5 days. Turned out he got locked in another neighbor's garage and that neighbor was on vacation for a few days.

We're so sorry to read Catzee is missing, we know how distressing it is.
Some great suggestions upthread^ You could also empty out the contents of your vacuum cleaner, outside doors or windows that Catzee might use to come in and around your garden or yard. Scent carries best early morning or evening and will carry your home smells to her if she is nearby - to guide her home. We've used this in the past and it works.

Purring for your Catzee to come home safe. Look all over yur yard - under steps, in the garage, in all teh hiding places and include your neighbors - most pets don't wander. And ask St Anthony to help find her - we have always found our missing cats this way!

We hope Catzee comes home soon. Our pets on the net, recommends getting laminated posters up, and also making a poster for your front fence/tree/letterbox, as neighbours will stop and look at it closely.
