I learned how to sit up for treats!
Dad and
Rascal teached me.
First I watched Rascal do it. He made it look furry easy. So I tried it.
It is not easy at all!!! I had figgur out how to sit up on my back legs. When I would try to jump and grab the treat Dad would say "no" and gently push me down so I hadda sit. Then he gived me the treat.
I had to learn how to keep my balance. That was furry hard but Rascal said that's what tails are good for. Then I had to learn how to take the treat from Dad's hand wifout fallin ofur.
It took a coupla days but I did it!!! I can sit up for treats jus as good as Rascal. Dad says I'm a Smart Kitty. Rascal just says "Hmmph."

Wow, that's a great trick with a tasty reward! I can stand up like that too but I wouldn't know how to do it for treats 'cause I don't like treats.

yoo are furry smart ta learn that, an plus ya look cute doin it. too bad nobuddy could train Midnight ta do that. she grabs the hand wif her claws, pulls it to her mouf an bites the fingers wif the treat. now the Lady just puts the treats on the floor fur her own purrsonal safety.

I think you're both clever! Rascal is furry clever for working it out in the first place, and for being a good teacher. And you are furry clever for learning so quickly! :)

We can't get Lilly to sit up without her thinking that she can jump up. She's smart about some things, but anything where she can get her paws off the floor and it messes her up for weeks. Maybe she needs a smarter big brother.
Wow, yu ARE a smart kitty! Maybe if I learn how to do that, Momma will give me treats more often.

Catzee, way to go! I need to learn that trick. I mostly just flop down on the floor and show my belly. Maybe if I learn a trick I'll get more treats!

I saw yur momma's bloggie wif the cute pic-shures of yoo an yur vick-tim, the milk jug. doesn't yur momma know it just feels good ta puncture stuff wif yur fangs? them plastic fings puncture real good too. we has them milk jugs 'cept they're water jugs on account of they has water in 'em an we keeps 'em in case of erf-quakes an offur 'mergencees. a cupple weeks ago the Lady came out in the morning an the kitchen floor was all wet cause i bitey'd the side of one of the water jugs an it hadta leak after that. maybe our mommas just don't know how fun it is cause they hasn't tried it yet. they should.
